And one of them’s a Level 3!

Most states have a web site to look this info up.

Arizona’s is here. Minnesota’s is here. They only show you the level 3′s.

If you are in the 0.1% of readers outside those states, you can googhoodling it.

No no no, they weren’t gonna use it for weapons! It’s for medical reasons, duh!

Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad wants talks between Iranian and US experts to allay fears about his country’s nuclear program as international pressure mounts on Tehran.

In an interview with the Washington Post and Newsweek magazine Wednesday, Ahmadinejad also said Iran would offer to purchase enriched uranium for medical purposes from the United States at talks with world powers on October 1.

How could we have been so stupid?! Why would they want weapons when his speeches include such amazing humanitarian sentiment like this:

“It is disappointing that Mr Ahmadinejad has once again chosen to espouse hateful, offensive and anti-Semitic rhetoric,” Mark Kornblau, spokesman to the US mission to the United Nations, said in a statement.

Delegations from Argentina, Britain, Australia, Costa Rica, Denmark, France Germany, Hungary, Italy, New Zealand and the United States left the room as Ahmadinejad began to rail against Israel.

Maybe they plan to smoke it to relieve the pain caused by glaucoma.

No wait, I think I know what they’re really after

A freak dust storm turned the sky in Australia red this morning.

It faded to light orange as the day progressed.

I may have just had a geek-gasm.

I wonder if I can get a pallet delivered here in time for Friday’s game…

And I mean a real one. Not one of these imaginary racists that we’ve all become.

When Carter returned to Plains, Georgia, to become a peanut farmer after serving in the Navy, he became a member of the Sumter County School Board, which did not implement the 1954 Brown v. Board of Education decision handed down by the Supreme Court. Instead, the board continued to segregate school children on the streets of Carter’s hometown. …

Carter’s board tried to stop the construction of a new “Elementary Negro School” in 1956. Local white citizens had complained that the school would be “too close” to a white school. As a result, “the children, both colored and white, would have to travel the same streets and roads in order to reach their respective schools.” The prospect of black and white children commingling on the streets on their way to school was apparently so horrible to Carter that he requested that the state school board stop construction of the black school until a new site could be found. The state board turned down Carter’s request because of “the staggering cost.” Carter and the rest of the Sumter County School Board then reassured parents at a meeting on October 5, 1956, that the board “would do everything in its power to minimize simultaneous traffic between white and colored students in route to and from school.”

Here’s some more:

Carter campaigned for governor of Georgia as a self-proclaimed “redneck,” in an era when that word had pronounced racial connotations. His campaign distributed a photo of his gubernatorial opponent Carl Sanders being embraced by black basketball players to a Ku Klux Klan rally. Carter pledged to invite Alabama’s infamous segregationist governor George Wallace to Georgia if elected. He once said he was “proud” to have the equally segregationist Lester Maddox as his lieutenant governor following the 1970 election, calling Governor Axe-handle “the essence of the Democratic Party” (which he was).

How about a blog post from someone who used to work for Carter? (Click the link to see the flier in question)

This flier was sent to barber and beauty shops, in envelopes addressed by me, when Jimmy Carter ran against Carl Sanders in the l970 Georgia gubernatorial campaign. It is racist. Hamilton Jordan, Carter’s friend and long time associate, created it . In my naivete (I was 20), I didn’t consider the racism, instead, it was a great way to score a win against the Republican candidate. Get that? Accusing the Republican candidate of cavorting with blacks. Reverse racism?

So, just a reminder: Jimmy Carter is a Racist. And the Worst ex-President (and maybe worst President) of all time.

The Worst President Ever just can’t keep his mouth shut.

The other day he was hurling the race card around, then the next day he doubled down, this time, with a bizarre attack on Jay Leno as a bonus.

So what to do for an encore? Accuse the US of illegally supporting a coup against Hugo Chavez, of course.

“I think there is no doubt that in 2002, the United States had at the very least full knowledge about the coup, and could even have been directly involved,” Carter told Colombian paper, El Tiempo, on Sunday.

For added fun, the link to the story above is from the Iranian State Media. Just showing you how helpful Mr. Carter is to the cause.

Because a former US President spewing conspiracy theories that can be used by our enemies as propaganda is a really well thought out strategy.

Forcing white people to step down from their positions and give them to minorities. Or so says Obama’s Diversity Czar.

The conversation about how we communicate with each other despite being aware of the clear impressions that I know that I make in rooms that I walk into, when people hear my voice, is a challenge. How much do I express the… I think really pretty obvious complaints of black Americans in rooms full of whites.

This… there’s nothing more difficult than this. Because we have really, truly good white people in important positions. And the fact of the matter is that there are a limited number of those positions. And unless we are conscious of the need to have more people of color, gays, other people in those positions we will not change the problem. We’re in a position where you have to say who is going to step down so someone else can have power.

This guy is in our government. Right now.

Renting friends.

Best man Ryuichi Ichinokawa took his place before the assembled wedding guests, cleared his throat and for the next few minutes spoke movingly about the bride and groom. But his speech omitted one crucial fact: that he knew the beaming couple only marginally better than the waiters and waitresses serving their wedding breakfast.

From the moment the guests sat down until they belted out the final karaoke song of the evening, Ichinokawa was part of a grand, though well-intentioned, deception.

He is a professional stand-in, part of a growing service sector that rents out fake spouses, best men, relatives, friends, colleagues, boyfriends and girlfriends to spare their clients’ blushes at social functions such as weddings and funerals.

I find it… sad.

I knew it! I once saw a toll road in a white hood carrying an Obama = Hitler sign. Racist!

ARLINGTON, Va. – There’s a new turn in the debate over high occupancy toll lanes or HOT lanes.

A lawsuit filed by Arlington County last month claims the lanes benefit wealthy white people and discriminates against minorities. While the only rule to get in the HOV lanes on Interstate 395 is you must have three people in the car, Arlington claims adding HOT lanes would cut out poor and minorities by defacto.

There is literally nothing that is not racist anymore. If you can’t trust toll roads, who can you trust?
