…is a town in Washington County, Utah, United States. The population was 394 at the 2000 census. It is located along the Virgin River (for which it is named), not far from Zion National Park. The elevation is 3,550 feet. It lies on the route of State Route 9.
So what inspired a post about this town (aside from the school-girl giggles name)(Virgin… hehehe)?
In May (or June depending on our source) 2000, they passed a law which required every homeowner to keep and maintain a gun. This was apparently highlighted in Fatty McLardasses‘s 2002 film “Fatting for Columfat“.

That’s it, I’m starting a town. It won’t be soon but at some point it will very very exist.
Probably won’t decide on a name just yet, but the flag will likely have a something similar to a rattlesnake, though less creepy an animal, and a boot deciding not to tread on it. Maybe some updated text like:
“Don’t Tax on Me!”
Possibly some billboard propaganda like:
“A human heartbeat begins 21 days after conception. (This is simply an FYI. We don’t kill babies here.)”
And a bumper sticker like “Waterboarding is not a crime.”
Anybody wanna help name my town?
I don’t know about a name, but I am so moving there.
A town where everyone has a gun? Imagine the nonexistent crime rate.
