The Spanish Flu that killed 70-100 million people in 1918 came in two waves. The first wave happened in March, and was relatively mild. Not very many people died.
The second wave happened in September, and that’s when it got really deadly.
So like I said, no need to panic, yet.
We still have a few months.

I just learned last night from Jeff that healthy adults with the immune system of a horse (ahem- me included)tend to die during influenza pandemics. They die because their immune system is working in overdrive to get rid of the flu that it ends up eating their body away from the inside.
So that was nice.
I always thought my immune system was the one of the rare perks of having terrible parents. I guess those bastards win again!!!
I am kidding- I have no flu symptoms while Jeff has the never-ending sinus infection. He’s taking enough antibiotics to kill just about anything… I figure nature isn’t mean enough to give him both so I am happy he will sit this pandemic out!
Sounds like autoimmune? It’s Lupus! It’s NEVER Lupus!!!
