Apparently there is some type of semi-organized effort around giving away free hugs, called the Free Hugs Campaign.

I’m thinking it’s mostly a way for creepy guys who couldn’t get any normal female affection to try to score chicks who will think they are sensitive. That and a good cover for pedophiles to hang out in public places.

Now that I’ve depressed you about the sorry state of a society that would come up with something as ridiculous and worthless as a Free Hugs campaign, make yourself feel better by watching this hilarious video of capitalism triumphing over some free hug moron.

I tell you this, if the video is not real, the guy’s reaction @ 2:44 should earn him one of those awards that actors give each other.
